Ad groups configuration
To configure your ad group, go to the Ad groups step and click on the Build step button, which will take you to the Ad groups configuration tab.
- At Ad group name, choose a name for the group of items that will be in a campaign. The name of this ad group can also be dynamic: you can use the values of fields from your feed. For example, if you use the field 'sub category' as ad group name, you can create Ad Groups for each sub category in your feed.
- Choose a Default Max CPC. This is the maximum cost you would like to pay every time someone clicks on your ads. You can choose between a static value or a dynamic field to set up the Default Max CPC. You can use the value option to setup one default value for all ads that will be created. For example, all ads can be created with a default value of "0.01". You can use the dynamic option to specify a field for each item in which the default value can be found. Different items will now receive different default values. Note that if you are creating ads on for example a brand level, the dynamic field might contain multiple values. In that case you can choose to keep either the lowest or highest CPC value.
Important: The Default Max CPCis setup once when a new ad is created, after that you can edit the CPC value in Google Ads. For existing ads Channable will never overwrite the CPC value after the initial setup.

At AI Max, click the Optimize with AI Max toggle to use AI Max.
AI Max is an optional layer for your Google Search campaigns that uses AI to find new customers and create more relevant ads.
Tip: We advise you to be careful with experimenting with AI Max at first. Start with a small, controlled test first (e.g., a non-critical product category or a low-budget campaign) and monitor performance closely before scaling.
